who has been a therapist since 2005 and practicing here in Papamoa since 2008.

After years of working in a variety of industries and extensive travel, Teresa decided to pursue a long-time passion and completed her massage qualifications while living in London. Teresa has always played sports and loves the great outdoors so sports massage was a natural progression.  From years of sports, weight training, yoga and Crossfit, she has developed an understanding of many of the muscular-skeletal issues active people of all ages face.

She is passionate about health, well-being and mindfullness and how important strength and regular movement is in our everyday lives. Her treatments are very client focused combining whatever techniques are required to give you the best possible outcomes and always within your comfort levels.  

Career highlights have been working on some of New Zealand's sports teams: Black Caps, NZ Warriors league, Silver Ferns, All Black 7's, BOP Steamers.

TATIA

Originally from Boulder Colorado, Tatia (pronounced Tay-Shuh) began her massage career over 20 years ago when she gained her Diplomas from The Canterbury College of Natural Medicine. She has since owned a successful massage therapy clinic in Howick Auckland (14 years) before taking a break and moving to Papamoa in 2019. 

With a wealth of experience behind her, you are in very expert hands! Tatia can treat a variety of muscular-skeletal conditions, postural imbalances, rehabilitation, chronic pain, headaches and general tension.  She is also very experienced in pregnancy massage.

Tatia works in a very intuitive way using all of her skills and knowledge to support the whole person, whilst still providing you with a targeted remedial treatment when required. Having a passion for growth and personal development she has extensive knowledge in a wide range of topics relating to health, wellbeing and having a positive mindset to support you in creating a vibrant and healthy way of life.

DAVID

Qualifications:​

  • Bachelor Physical Education and Sports Science, Otago University

  • Diploma Remedial Massage, WINTEC

  • Southern Cross Health Insurance approved provider (TBC)

With four years experience in the remedial massage space, David is an expert in treatments requiring a clinical, focused and results-based approach.  He was named top student overall in 2021 when completing his Level 6 Remedial Massage Diploma.

 

He fully understands the helplessness and limitations that injury and chronic pain can have, and David will be intent on diligently locating the source of the issue, correcting it and then guiding clients into any rehabilitation and strengthening process required. 

 

His Exercise Science background provides robust knowledge and experience in prescribing a treatment plan for you to return to normal function, whether you are a pro athlete, weekend warrior, or in the pre/post surgery phase. 

In addition to his passion for remedial massage, David is a High School P.E. Teacher and a Volleyball Coach at both a high school and representative level.

RAYNA

Qualifications:​

  • Diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy

  • 500 hr yoga teacher training

  • Southern Cross Health insurance approved provider

Born and raised in Canada, Rayna started her career as a massage therapist in 2018, after completing a 2200 h0ur provincially regulated program. Her training was heavily focused on anatomy and physiology, orthopaedic assessment and safe, effective massage techniques for each unique individual.

 

Following her massage training Rayna travelled to Costa Rica and completed a 200 hr yoga teacher training and loved it so much that she returned 4 years later to obtain the 300 hour certification.

She performs a variety of treatments that aim to manage or reduce symptoms of chronic pain/soft tissue injuries, tension head aches, general tension, fibromyalgia, muscular-skeletal imbalances, and pain associated with arthritis.  She is also very proficient in pregnancy massage.

 

Rayna is passionate about staying active with sports like, surfing, volley ball and hiking. She is also a strong believer in rest and rejuvenation to allow your mind and body to recharge, so you can step back out into the world and enjoy the things you love.
